"It was truly an aweful experience. I have never given a bad review in my life. I paid extra for an ocean view room when I made the reservation. I went to check in to find out that we were getting a basic room and they charged me another 22$ for resort fee. Most of the hotel is under construction and the room was ran down and we had a view of the road. They said they would try to find another room but I never heard anything back. I took my daughter to celebrate her birthday and we did our best to make the best of the trip. It was a big let down"

"This complex is quite impressive, and extremely well maintained. Everything from the football, baseball, soccer and cross usage fields were immaculate. The bathroom facilities were clean and in perfect working order. The concessions were open, and had a great selection at relatively reasonable prices. I would encourage anyone to play on, visit, or otherwise use the facilities without any reluctance. They do follow the proper Covid practices for outdoor use."

"This was such a great find in Lake Village. Just a few blocks off the main drag and worth the short detour. Ms Rhoda cooks a mean meal. We had the smothered chicken with rice, steamed cabbage and the beans. Wow! Then we had the fried catfish... WOW! It’s a simple place with just a few tables inside. We also had the tamales and the pecan pie. Don’t be dissuaded by the looks of the place when you drive up. It’s amazing. Definitely on our list of lunch places when we pass through town."
