"This is a perfect spot! Beautiful sand and water. There are clean restrooms and a place to shower off. There is a ramp entrance at the restroom building. To the left or right you will find stair entrances down to the beach. Pompano Joe's also has an entrance to a lower beach bar area with available tables and chairs if you're eating or drinking there, they open at 11am. If you bring a canopy or tent type grotto you will need to assemble it in line with others farther back from the water, as only umbrellas and chairs can be placed closer to the water. There is ample parking. If it's packed go down Driftwood rd. across from this beach access you will find overflow parking. You can access the restaurant this way also if you can't park easily in main area."

"Just moved to the area and have been dropping by this Pub for the last 4 months. The Pub is perfect for drink followed by a stroll down the beach. They have a jukebox, dart board and pool table. It's a mixture of locals and vacationers, very cozy with a couple great bartenders."
