- "What a beautiful place , clean , just look like paradise"
"For a small town the Lafayette Recreation Department does a good job trying to offer as much as they can for the community. Nothing has changed or been updated over the last 20 years and I think the local sports (soccer, cheer, baseball, etc.) have all pretty much stayed the same, but no one is complaining. I have heard from a few parents with small kids that the prices to participate in the sports offered by the Lafayette Rec have gone up, so they have chosen to participate in near-by towns. In the past there have been cases of abuse that involved a former Lafayette Rec tennis coach, so I hope for the safety of the children they are doing a better job screening and monitoring their employees."
